A customer list can tell you a lot about a vineyard.

What does the Portico Hills Vineyard client roster say about the young Los Alamos, California property? The collection of fruit buyers speaks to both the current quality and future potential of the ranch. Wineries like Paul Lato, Ojai, Rideau, Presqu'ile, Levo, Casa Dumetz, and Margerum don't settle for the mundane. And that's just a sample of the Portico Hills client lineup.

We became aware of the vineyard in a recent conversation with another buyer, Eric Carucci of Carucci Wines. Eric is purchasing Cabernet Franc from Portico Hills. He could not be more enthusiastic about the property's promise.

To learn more about the origins of Portico Hills Vineyard and its exciting potential, we recently sat down with owner Doug Circle. Doug is the President and CEO of Circle Vision, a company with a long history in California commercial and agricultural real estate. He has years of entrepreneurial experience in farming, including the growing of fine wine grapes. Listen in as we learn more from Doug about a vineyard we think will be a hot topic of conversation in coming years.
