Unlike
web presentations, local presentations (presentations
run from information stored in the playback unit such as an internal
hard drive or cd-rom) are governed less by images size and
compression levels and more by color depth and compression types.
Depending on the playback system chosen, whether it be Director
or Powerpoint or your own proprietary system, there will be differing
requirements and limitations. One system may not decode jpeg images
rapidly enough for smooth play back while another may not be able
to handle the full color depth of a 32 bit image. Again, no two
problems are the same. |
